LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences, which are diverse in themselves, exist alongside infinite possible racial, ethnic, geographical/national, and other identities community members hold. We will review statistics that include results based on age, race, economic, and other identity categories to explore how these categories impact a person’s experience of being LGBTQIA+. We will also discuss the relationship between colonization, white supremacy, homophobia and transphobia.
